Induction Schedule
Thursday 9th May 7-9 pm – Welcome to Kinellar School and P1 Essentials (Presentation and Tour)
You will find the presentation here: Presentation 09.05.24
During this presentation, you will be introduced to the school, our vision, values and aims and the school team. We will briefly introduce the Curriculum for Excellence and then focus on exploring Early level. We will discuss what to expect in those early weeks of P1 and the importance of Play. Finally we will run through P1 essentials including our uniform and what to bring to school.
Tuesday 4th June 7-8.30 pm – P1 Overview (Presentation and time for questions)
Wednesday 19th June – Step Up Session (Children will be allocated a morning or afternoon school visit)

Thursday 27th June – Coffee Morning for New P1 Parents
This will be an informal coffee morning designed to give you an opportunity to meet and get to know other parents in the year group. Staff will be on hand to answer any final questions. We will also have uniform samples on display. Children welcome.
